- Explain what leadership is.
- Describe who leaders are and what effective leaders do.
- Select 2 of the 5 major approaches to leadership and explain or describe how each theory works:
- Fiedler’scontingency theory
- Hersey and Blanchard’s situationalleadership theory
- Path-goal theory
- Normative decision theory
- Visionary leadership (i.e., charismatic or transformationalleadership)
- In the last paragraph or slide, explain your experience with someone who has been a good leader that you have followed. This can be someone from either a work or a personal experience. Explain how the person is a good leader, why you believe them to be effective, and one thing you have learned from that person that you would take with you if you were promoted to management today.
Be sure to proofread your work. Not only will I be evaluating your content, but I will also be checking for spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors.
